Janelle Hacault is a professional contemporary dance artist, choreographer, educator, actor and embodiment coach based in Montréal, QC. She is a graduate of the Senior Professional Program at the School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg, trained actor, and holds a BA Honours degree from the University of Winnipeg.

She was co-founder of Nova Dance Collective, .6 Ricochet, and co-creator of thedancepost.org. She has had the privilege of working with Nafro Dance Productions, Ming Hon, Compagnie Entitey/Jason Martin, Trip The Light Fantastic (Kyra Jean Green), Charles-Alexis Desgagnés, Morgane LeTiec, Andrea Peña, Sylvain Émard Danse, Les 7 Doigts de la Main, Sam Pinkleton and Ani Taj. Before COVID-19 hit the world stage, Janelle was performing Ships in the Night by Les 7 Doigts de la Main (director Gypsy Snider) and Untitled (DanceShowPartyThing) by New York choreographer Ani Taj and Tony Award nominated Sam Pinkleton, onboard cruise-line Virgin Voyages where she did a TransAtlantic crossing for the first time.

In 2021, she participated in Révolution’s 3rd season making it to the Face-à-Face sharing the stage with Ann-Florence Bégin. She just finished working with Sylvain Émard Danse with 19 other dancers on the show Rhapsodie presented by Danse Danse. In addition to performing, 

Janelle has a coaching practice and online Embodiment Session that mixes dance and meditation to increase awareness and movement wellness for people from all walks of life. This is Janelle’s fifth year with TTLF.
