Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive. – Dalai Lama
The work was a collaboration between the choreographer and all of the performers. Trip The Light Fantastic hosted a summer intensive with daily morning classes and an afternoon of creation. The dancers of Trip The Light Fantastic and 14 dancers created this work over the period of two weeks in 40 hours. This new creation for 18 dancers explores the question of fighting with love instead of hate. Is it possible to go to war with compassion instead of bombs?
